Even some of these have failed. I've replaced a set of bent ones on a mate's z32.

Yeah early version suffered bending threads. Mine are ok but more than a few failed. Version 2 (the ones currently on sale) have longed female section and larger diameter thread.

Are there v2's available? Thought they were sold out?

Shane what about looking at the z1 arms with bushes? Adjustable & don't need to worry about the twisting so much.

Shane, you could try longer flca and that way create more beg camber. I can't remember off the top of my head but I'm sure I'm using s14 arms and with stock fuca they give me neg 3 camber.

Just make sure the ball joint has the right taper.

That's an interesting idea. Can you confirm the details for me please :zlove:

There are race version 2s available. Shorter than usual to provide more neg camber for race car but no good for correcting neg camber on a road car.

I had the same thought about Z1 although I wonder if the adjustment mechanism would provide the "path of least resistance" for the torsional load, rather than the bush. One way to find out though. At $388USD plus freight he'd be better off buying the UAS units.

    AndyMac Better than you

If you don't need much more than increase your positive caster, this will result in a higher neg camber angle under compression and a straighter tyre when level.

If it is a race car why not modify the lower arm so you can just the the Camber from there ( eg; adjustable lower ball joint )

Because adjustable bottom arms are more expensive than adjustable upper arms, though I may look into the S14 arms, that might be a good cheap option.

Would be the best way to go ... you don't have to worry about all the pivoting/bending etc etc that goes on with Top arms ;-)

I checked my old emails and the arms were sold to me as s14 front lower control arms.

Do you remember if u needed to use the S14 castor/tension rods also?

Z should bolt on and you wont have to worry about different size at the front bush. Do you have adjustable castor?

No not yet, I've got a set there but they need bushes.

So the S14 lower arm must be longer than the Z32 correct? (to generate neg camber)
Does it use the same ball joint?

Went and had a look at some S14 lower control arms today. There is no way adding these is going to result in negative 3 degrees camber, maybe half a degree if that. They're only maybe 5mm longer.

Mijake you sure there weren't other mods added at the same time? Or maybe they've given you incorrect info on the amount of neg camber added?

What rubber and offsets are you running?
I'm surprised to hear you need to shorten the upper control most zeds would scrape when cornering.

    Sorry, don't understand your question?
I don't need this because lowered or because tyres are scraping, I need this because racecar :p
