SO I have posted before about repairing conventional bumpers but we all know that ours are Urethane and can not be plastic welded, so I slapped together a quick slide show for show and tell. I notice after the fact that the caption dissapears on one pic but its not overly important, and it goes a bit fast sorry guys I paced it at a speed I can read it only to get told off by my wife that its too fast....... I wish I could work out how to imbed it just never seems to work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrgdDeuWPZQ Yes I know it was not a Z (but at least it was a v8 lexus)
HAHAA nice work, I will never complain about drawn out boring videos on YouTube again. How it should be, pause button works well, some guys would make a 30 minute video for the same info, thanks.
My bumper is in 3 pieces, and frankly I'm looking for a new one. Still might give this a go, see how it works. Where do you get 3M 05887 anyway? I also noticed this on the 3M website.
you will need to find either a generic 3M supplier or a specialty panel and paint supplier should have it, someone somewhere also mentioned having seen it at a super cheap or repco or similar, but be aware the stuff is expensivefor the price of enough to repair a bumper in 3 pieces it may be easier/cheaper to replace it altogther.
Thanks. I think I'll try and find some anyway; I'm having a bit of a tough time finding a new bumper.
Great Video mate!! Works fine when slowed down to 0.25... Thanks Dude! Hey now you're famous... you're in the Internet lol!
