Wiring Connector Identification

Hi,

The attached picture shows an 8 pin female socket located in the back right corner of my 300ZX near the radio antenna.

Could anyone advise what plugs into this? There doesn't seem to be a male connection close by.

Tail lamp sensor box? The black box that clips in near the RH tail lamp.

 

Looks like the antenaa amp module. Its a clear sqaure electrical box near the antenna to the left behind the trim panels.
