After doing the big side mount install, I am not liking the space this occupies behind the drivers side cooler (when compared to the pass side with all the junk removed). Has anyone relocated it? Or used a 2 seater unit? Or aftermarket jobbie?
Hi John, yep I ended up using a generic washer res (with pump etc). Only issue is the check valves I need to install Washes the windscreen when I brake hard. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=331034&page=5
Nice. I'm surprised you didn't mount it in the oem location up front. I'm not sure what type/size SMIC's you're using, but it's diminutive size shouldn't conflict with the flo-thru intentions for the SMIC. This is the one I got. 4"x5"x5.5"
My windscreen sprayer check valves got tired (weepy) years ago and I replaced with oem. Quite inexpensive really.
I didn't like the look of how much area the res took up behind the SMIC. Moved it for piece of mind. I am sure there are plenty of guys who haven't moved it.
