That Z can tow a car float + 4wd no worries!

That is undoubtedly the toughest Z in all of Aus!

Yeah guys, the Blue Beast has gone to a better home now :(

I've had a wonderful and rewarding time having my Zed for over 10 years now, bringing it up from stock condition to what it is recently.
During the bulk of that time, i've had pretty much every weekend available to spend time and money on upgrading things, fixing things when needed, adding beneficial aftermarket items and basically having the whole car gone over from top to bottom with the best of everything.

Since about 2-3 years ago when i had a new A2Zed engine built and installed in it, new gearbox, etc... and spent another X-amount of thousands of dollars on it, i think i started running out of puff, i had done some minor damage to my back at the time during the engine install, and since then i had started not having as much ambition or enthusiasm in doing further work to it.
So from there, i concentrated on finishing another side project i was holding off on, which is my 4x4 fix-up! (Yes, the Toyota Surf that i towed up from near Sydney all the way up to Qld in that epic Zed towing thread years ago!).
So i finished that off and registered, so now i parked the Zed in the shed over 6 months ago now as a break from travelling to work and back every day thinking i would fall back in love with it again soon, and get in and fix a few little things that were accumulating over the last year. But no. Hasn't happened. I'm getting too busy on my weekends working on my new house and yard, or getting drunk with friends, or enjoying life. haha.

So at this time, i just kind of want a car that i can just jump in and go for a drive and enjoy it - instead of constantly having it up on stands and doing upgrades and work on. That's the only reason it's gone now.

BUT, it's gone to a really great bloke! He's enthusiastic and passionate about Zeds! I think he'll have it ship-shape and winning more trophies again!

While i haven't been on this forum much over the last couple of years, i'll still pop in every now and then to have a look around. I'm still the Administrator on the FB Aus300ZX community, so i'm always on that. But I've gained so many memories and life-long friends from this very forum and it's gatherings! That's not something that disappears when you sell a car. That stays. :)

    Love you all peeps!

    Cheers,
    Benny_C :zlove:

Yeap. Read this (now yesterday) while at work and I was shocked.

Always loved seeing this car in photos. Even the debate back when you were deciding on replacement rims.

Onwards and upwards I guess though. At least the 4b is always good cheap thrills. :)
