I think that's been on a few times over the years. Not that recent.

But the difference is that I get to watch it this time. (Well only because Brisbane is R.E.S.T. real eastern standard time)

Yep thanks to the time difference I got to watch it too.

I like how they point to the import plate and say oh it has a mod plate, that means this car must be modified!

Yes, but the mod plate means it is LEGALLY engineered/modified. Did they make that point on the show?

Unfortunately I had to be somewhere so I pressed record on the TV box and it recorded a bit, but my tv signal dropped out for 40 mins, so I didn't get to see the analysis.
Only saw up to the laser imager and the first 3D simulation.

Entirely the driver's fault. No BAC or drugs detected, nothing environment-related had contributed. According to the CCTV footage at the carwash he was travelling sideways at 62km/h when the impact occurred with the wall.

The driver's brother (the passenger) died from a broken neck but the driver survived. Tough to live with that!

Wasn't this the one with the mesh on the throttle cover? The type that is known to cause the throttle to stick on?

Several years old(but a good lesson anyway). This was caused by driving stupidly for the prevailing road conditions at the time.
Stuck throttle or no stuck throttle, 4 disc brakes should have been able to stall the engine and stop any motive force(even if the car still managed to hit the scenery).
