Whats happeneing when you try to start the car? Are you getting accessories and does the fuel pump prime etc? If you think it is related to the ignition directly, also the the ignition coil relay.
like it decribes... in the tech section,thats why I thought it may be the starter relay or maybe starter motor but will chek the ignition coil relay as well.
So the battery definitely has full charge? What do the battery terminals look like? Do they have heaps of corrosion on them? Make sure they are clean and are getting a good connection. Also make sure the wires to the starter motor aren't loose and are getting a good connection.
yeah i cleaned.. the terminals,when I put the charger clips on the battery all the lights on the charger light up, full power if battery was low or dead only one or so light up.
Got a multimeter? A battery with a defective cell can indicate full charge or voltage. A fully charged battery will have at least 12.7VDC. You need to 'load test' the battery. Test the voltage when cranking the engine, or in your case, while you are attempting to start the engine. If you have 12.7VDC to start with & the voltage drops significantly [while you are attempting to start the engine], you may have a defective battery or starter motor.
thanks ed.. was battery after all,showing plenty of voltage not enough amps to start it put a new starter relay in as well and new battery started .Thanks everyone for your help.
