End of an Era

Zed got picked up today by the new owner. Nice young bloke from Toowoomba.






This is the first time since '06 I haven't owned a zed! It's been good fun and I have met some wonderful people, but time to move on and try something new.


Anyway, more interestingly I'm test driving these two beauties next weekend :br:

 

Is that Orange one located around Tarragindi on the South Side? I see it all the time.

 

Yep, that's the one. Supercharger off a Cup 240, complete carbon interior and a bajillion dollars worth of suspension. Other one has better blower kit, but pretty standard other than that.

 

Nice, I didn't realise you were buying a boosted one, should be good!!

 

How does a bloke of your stature go fitting into that?
I'm wider and shorter than you, and have to do the harlem shake to get it my mate's Lotus Elise.

I know what you mean though, they handle awesome, the Elise is not 'fast' but the Exige should be way more lively

 

Haha, I've always loved them! They are so tiny, and practically no compromises. Also super reliable with the Toyota engines. Not the manliest thing around, but some might say that will suit perfectly :rofl:

 

Either did I! These two popped up within a day of each other in Brissy, and being aftermarket supercharged cars they are ~$15k cheaper than the factory ones (and faster!).

I fit ok in them, getting out is the hard part

Are the plates included?

 

Getting into/out of those cars definitely is an art form.

That orange one is more rice than my zed!!...not!!...but it's the nicer of the two..best of luck with it..

Nice looking car , if not a bit gay. You realise you will have to wear a pink shirt when driving it . You could have just got ( he who's name I just don't dare to mention ) to make you a kit on his 3d printer :rofl:. I'm sure you will enjoy driving it that's for sure. There is a yellow one around the corner from my sister place in Adelaide and every time I visit it gets my attention.
