Just for a little bit of background information on the Tein HR's. They are the same as the HA's, just height adjustable only. No damper adjustment. Quite hard, and can be uncomfortable for road use. I used to have them in my s13, and used to frequent Parramatta Rd in Sydney, and i felt like my teeth were going to fall out over every little bump. Still, they are great entry level coilovers for that price
You're right it is a really hard ride with these on, but not horribly unbearable on WA roads (unless you're heading a few hours over country roads). I've driven quite a distance through Sydney and a few outer suburbs and the roads there are terrible compared to here! All I could think the whole time was how crap it would have been driving my car there haha
haha that was more directed at SRB2NO, as I know he lives around the Parramatta area, and the roads are terrible there. Awesome bit of gear, but probably not for the folk who want a comfortable ride
I had HA's in my old zed and it rattled my teeth out, lol. In saying that, if you're looking for a firm ride and a nice height, $400 is a bargain. I'd be keen if I didn't have other shit to spend my money on.
I have a set of these in my zed. Don't know what you're all complaining about. Sure on parramatta rd they aren't the best. But They're fine. Bargain
