Well I know most of you will think that this is a crazy thing to do.Basically reduce the size of the stock manual turbo's.My z is basically stage 1 mods
(exhaust, intercoolers, chipped, pollution bypass, profect B boost controller, pod )
    and running very well.
I have just moved into a more built up area and found myself wanting more spool.
In a perfect world I would buy 750 injectors, GT2554 set of ball bearing turbo's,(reduced exhaust housing to GTR .49 ) larger intake cams,Dump pipes,Dual intake. Yum (not rich yet)
(unless your draging lag is for loosers )
So anyway had a2z change the exhaust housings to the smaller .54 auto (thanks Eric ) and I love it. Sure Ive lost a little top end power, but its much more fun with a very responsive street Z.So to me now this is probably the best mod Ive done. Just though I'd get a post on here for anyone else who is thinking of doing this.Z1 motorsport recomends this as a mod

I have auto turbos. Drag isn't really my thing. When I put my manual box in, I guess I should keep the auto turbos then?

    (sorry to derail)

When my Z was imported it came with .54 A/R turbos (manual tags).
only realised this I went highflows where I changed to .63

It spooled very fast and with same mods as you at 17psi it was very quick on streets .

you need to change by 6500rpm though as its a dead rev after that.
