lots of accidents aren't reported. not sure how minor it was, might be worth posting up pics in a new thread in ZRNT.

got news on wheel idea, I'll be in touch soon.

Whoa dude how did you pass the inspection with the panel separation like that on the strut tower? I would be looking at getting that fixed sooner then later as that panel work is apart of the overall reinforcement struction for the strut tower. Unfixed you'll find it will keep growing until your all out of shape. From the tt bumper on it it's had a front ender. Would be pulling the bar off and checking for chassis rail damage.

Also 40 profile for the rear tires ;)

Those new wheels look nice. Pretty casual and unobtrusive to look at. Colour offset to the body is good.

With some tlc the old girl will come a long way. Keep up the good efforts!

90 psi is pretty low. Was this wet or dry? Check the others and see what the difference is. Could be valve sealing issues, worn rings or busted hg. No bubbles in thd radiator at idle? Moccachino at all?

Also the miss you're experiencing will either be, dodgy or corroded injector plugs, coil pack plugs or a dodgy ptu. The silver square thing on the drivers side timing cover. Change this to a series two unit and you'll be a head. Can be either of all of them.

Not unless there is a critical issue with your engine and it's misfiring due to cylinder conditions etc. Change of plugs is cheap to try too. Just some Bosch standard coppers. $15 is cheap in the long run when problem solving.

Best of luck with it all and keep us updated.

Oh and anti ill have a coffee table too thanks mate.

just wondering what would the costs involved be in raising the front/rear suspension mounts.

Ok so I finally pulled the plennum the other day. Have a pic I'd like yas to look at.

When I pulled it I found an oily ressidue through the whole upper and lower plenum? This can't be good right? It's not like dry carbon buildup it's very wet and even dripped from the plenum?

    Never seen this is all.

Also anyone know where I can get a decent priced rebuilt na engine? Got a quote the other day for 3800 with exchange for mine?!? Sounds a bit rich to me. Doesn't include labour either.

I would say if your mechanically minded...get a rebuild kit from Coz and rebuild it yourself :) Or im sure you will get like 10 replies from here about doing a TT conversion instead :p

Yea i was stupid when I was younger so I'm still on my ps! Otherwise I would just buy a whole tt! Or do the ls1 conversion! Any idea how much the recon kit is for non turbo? Il prob end up doing that! Is there anything internally I can do to it to enhance performance slightly? Hafta keep it looking stock for the popo but what they can't see won't get me in trouble :p

Any ideas with the oil buildup in the plennum?

You can do cams, portwork, etc...the list goes on lol...it all depends on how much you want to spend :)

As for the rebuild kit, I'm not sure on price but have a look at Coz's website

oil in your plenum will be your PCV's. Nothing out of the ordinary there for an older motor.

Think I'm gonna part it out n buy a new one. Think I'd prefer a series 2 2 seater.

Good idea I think. Bad paint, bad chassis, bad motor unfortunately. At least it was cheap! dips on the Modena's :p

They're just as illegal on your P's as a TT. Which you should buy because nobody will be able to tell if it's turbocharged or not.

Na it's legal in sa! Our rules are slightly different to old, Vic and nsw. As long as it's not forced induction or on the excluded list it's legal! 350z n 370z are the only two nissans on the list. The v35 puts out 206 kw standard. N that's with a two into one exhaust n a pretty average looking intake system. I'm sure the fuel management could use a few tweaks too :p all while looking very standard!

They're really nice cars, I'm a huge fan of them. So's my dad - I'm trying to convince him to get one for his retirement and leave it to me in his will :p

Shame you got such a bad stint in the Z32 world :\ There are some nice TT's around, don't write them off completely.
