Have done a little bit of work on it and has more parts for it also..

It is a series 2 AUS-SPEC, with working climate control pod, has a clean S1 interior in it, not the velour it has from factory, and road worthy tyres (practically brand new) the zed also comes with the full stock exhaust (just needs a small weld on a joint), and loads of other spares like a brand new reo bar etc.

that said this car NEEDS work. i'll out line roughly what needs to be done :

- unknown engine condition, no guarantee of how it works what so ever ive never heard it run. (but told to have a knock on idle? and anything over 1200rpm it ran fine.. also been told it might be the timing out a couple of teeth?)
- needs a gearbox
- brake and clutch pedal assembly
- paint needs attention (while its good with no peel, there are mismatched colored panels) does have small dents around car but nothing to major. There is a dent on the drivers side rear quarter panel but is fixable. Car will be coming with 2 good front quarters.
- rear hatch has een welded up from where the spoiler was removed, and I have a 3rd brake light but it is in 3 pieces.
- alternator (I have my old TT one here for it)
- some fool has cut the wiring loom on the inside of the drivers side. Rod has started fixing it but still needs to be joined.
- needs drivers side apiller plastic on inside, and passenger side out side window surround. Also rubber from around targa on drivers side.

to prospective buyers, myself and a few other members in WA regurly buy zeds in this sort of condition (or worse!) and part them out to othe rmembers.

id say, from looking at that car as is, there is around $1800~$2000 worth of parts if stripped and sold in pieces. easy money people, it would have sold 5 times in WA by now lol

 

Ross it is a good deal...i would so get it...not to strip but to keep...but funds right now are very tight and will be for the next month

so what exactly is the problem with the motor? does it give any turn at all while trying to start?

 

Dont have a battery here to try and start it. Only going off what Rod told me when I got the car from him...
