    Hey all, been away for a while after I wrote off my old NA, and a year ago I picked up a 91TT project car!

    Just been through the basics so far, car had been cooked so I bought a super clean import '94 motor for it just getting that thing sorted at the moment. Lots of loom splicing!

    Other things have been done are
    * HICAS removal and install of alloy lock bar, upgraded PS pump to '94mdl
    * 100k service
    * Plenum pull and water lines removal and bypass
    * Rebuilt drivers seat with new foam, re-welded frame
    * Re-covered all seats in grey and blue leather
    * Re-trimmed all tweed with light grey vinyl
    * Custom boot with 12" sub
    * Full stereo install, Polk speakers and Kenwood headunit
    * Pillar mount mechanical boost guage
    * HKS turbo timer
    * Silicone intake hoses
    * Turbosmart dual boost controller
    * Carbon fiber bonnet louvers/vents (Yes the bonnet has been cut to suit!)

    Still work in progress but starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
    Hopefully get my new PTU this week after I fried my other one and can get this biatch running!

    Pics to follow

    Hey man thanks for the thread...good to see another rebuild...any engine bay shots? one comment on your leather though...not a fan of the colour :( and are the door panels and center console white?...also its got some pretty bad sagging on your passengers chair if its a recent job you should get who did it to fix it up...Other than that looks like a pretty decent z :zlove: also was wondering on the benefit of the ducts and placement?

    Hey! Cheers. Nahh they are not white, but a light grey. The light makes them look really white in the photo. Haven't taken any engine shots yet.
    The ducts I put on to try and withdraw some of the heat from under bonnet, and are near the rear of the engine, either side as i figured that spot gets little to no ventilation.
    I did the seats myself, I was going to wait and see if it moved into the right spot after a bit of the missus sitting in it, if not i'll pull it off and re-do it again.
