Got the zed Booked in for a nistune board on the 7th of next month! Car is booked in at unigroup engineering but will be running a std tune for now :( Can't get tuned AND pay for a 200km service at once. Even the std tune has to be better then the ebay chip im running now.

it's a board that makes your factory ECU reprogrammable so you can tune it. Lots of workshops do it, on average I believe it's around ~$700 installed and some dyno time

I was quoted $1000 for supply, install and tune from a VERY reputable workshop..

Mabey 10-20hp at best. Mid range and tq can be enhanced.

You dont need to buy the board and software. Thats the expesive route, if thats what your talking about. Most tuners use their own Nistune boarded ECU to do the actual tuning, and then they take that tune and just burn it onto an eprom chip that is then replaced inside your ECU for a permenant solution.

Buying the actual Nistune Board is only required if you cant find any tuners around with the gear ready to go.

I bought the Board itself since the car will be getting a TT convertion in the future so i want that tunability and since Unigroup has NIstune software i don't need to buy it as i won't be doing anything myself. Only going to run a stock tune for now, ecu's already socketted from the ebay chip so thats a plus.
