Are you sure you need them for a rwc? I got my roady a couple years back to move to club plates and had no issue passing with coilovers....
Yeah can confirm its bolts and clips, think some double sided tape too from memory on the front edge.

Yes common fault with the inverter or EL panel dying, have a search on here, there should be a few threads about repairing them.
