The one on the right looks like my one and since my Zed is TT, I think it would be safe to assume the one on the right is for a TT and the left, an N/A. :)

Ah, ok. How complicated can this be.... :bash: bloody a/c

Ah, in that case. Mine is a '90 model, my original seized compressor was identical to the one I bought (one on the right) so im guessing the one on the right is for around the '90 models. Never seen the one on the left.

*Edit - FFS lol, Sanouske just threw my theory out the window. Mine is a J-Spec technically. Zero idea then. I might suggest looking under your engine (best view without ripping shit out of the way) and having a look at your mounting piece to see if it appears built for the left or right one. /Edit*

thats why i said to strom when we pulled it out "you realise once this is out it stays out for good right?" and he was cool with that.....sadly, youve got his car and now putting AC back in is going to be a drama....

I've never seen the one on the left before. From what I understand any of the compressors will bolt up to any VG, the one on the left may be off another car. Do you know for sure?

The one on my '90 NA J-spec looked like the one on the right.

    Do did the one on my '93 NA J-Spec, Ztoy's '89 J-Spec TT and Nastygirls '89 J-Spec.

Apparently there are difference Aus-spec to J-spec too.

Only thing I can suggest is to look it up on FAST and compare the part numbers.

Yeh they are both of zeds, one off TT and one of N/A. TT one wouldn't be aus-spec ofcourse. So I'm not sure. I might try using Fast tomorrow.

I wonder what happened to the one he pulled out.

Yeh, in the end if I can't find all the bits by the time my engine bay in sprayed and my motor is ready to go in. I won't bother. I will try though.

good idea, use fast to try and work it out, are the part numbers clear/readable?

dont forget to also look up the brackets, cause depending onwhich one you use youll need the bracket to match it up to the engine

Mines 89' so hopefully if we are correct the one on the right is for my TT too.

i have seen the one on the right many times on N/A and TT, i have never seen the one on the left, seems to have a heavier compressor clutch.... may be different yr compressor or universal

The rounded one on the left is from an NA the more square one on the right is from a TT.

I have NEVER seen a TT compressor with the connections like that on an NA.

The one on the right is a TT, the one on the left is not off a Z32 at all.

TT and NA have different pipe clamp arrangments but they both fit up the same and have the same clutch.

    Hey

Just had a thought, the one on the left may be off something else, not sure could be a Hyundai one, But I thought I threw most of that gear out, could be wrong . Unless I threw out the other zed one by mistake

I had a seized one (on the right) on my N/A and replace with one which has similar inlet holes (on the left)
Spent a couple hours to reorganize pipes thou. Nightmare job!
However the one on the left has diferent mounting holes. looks like it's not from Z32
