I'm still in unless the weather is REALLY REALLY terrible.

Last time I went down here there were landslides and huge boulders falling onto the road

Still, short of absolutely catastrophic weather I'll be coming along.

  7. BADZX

    BADZX Grumpy old fart

This time tommorow we'll be on the Geelong ring Rd :D

spose I'd better get to the shed and put the timing belt etc back on
    :(

Had some serious rain storms pass through last night, good heavy rain with a stiff breeze chaser and bulk lightning strikes, this morning its still a good fresh breeze but the sky is fairly clear... sunny times largely with white clouds casting long shadows for 15mins every now and then, visability = 35K's

    Current temp = 19degrees (& steady)
    rel. humidity @ 67% (& falling)
wind = 17-20 knots and coming from the west (& steady)
barometer = sitting in the rain section @ 992 - mbar (& steady)

    Roads = DRY :D

almost ideal weather for a TT

    seriously.....
I really better get to the shed and put the timing belt etc back on
    ;)

If you can get to the Chaddy Macca's by 7:30 (although I'll be turning up at around 7 for Brekky) a group of us will be leaving from there!!

Actually I'm tempted to! Just jumped on the bureau of meteorology website, it's telling me there'll be scattered showers mainly over Melbourne, but how about along the GOR? Was really hoping for Targa weather...

Have fun guys, I think you'll be alright, past years have had rain as well, scattered throughout the day so I wouldn't stress out too much.

Sounds like the weather won't affect it too much. I might just jump in on the next cruise in the Zed, would feel a little out of place in the MR2 to be honest haha. I want to be flying the Z flag :)

I don't mean to be rude...but can someone please tell me exactly where this BP station is...I don't know about Craig, but I'm stressing out we are going to miss it :(...
I did google "street view" all around the "B" section as listed above..and I can't see a frigging BP station anywhere!!!!

Are you meant to turn off the Princes Fwy down another road to get to it:confused:...please help...I don't want to be late and we are leaving at 0615hrs tomorrow...

stress less renee, its right on the princess fwy/geelong road, infact theres one on each side directly opposite each other so you really cant miss it. From where the geelong ring road joins the princess fwy/geelong road its not even 10 minutes.
The next bridge where you can get to the other side of the road is like 4-5min down the road otherwise theres a couple of those little breaks in the centre medium fences where you could do a u-turn a bit closer.

    cheers, Tim

Well I hope I don't blink and miss it...guess we'll just keep driving until we see it..and if we somehow don't see it..I'll cry :(
