you can tell them i was the customer who asked lol
    :)
Problem is they want a core charge of $250usd for each ,screwed if i know where you would get gt28r cores to give them back,so its working out too pricey

I think i have decided to go ahead and order the gt28r kit (or what Z1 calls the gt600r)

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

They certainly weren't running ideal setups for high results with some of them running rough, leaks, slipping clutches, etc... not to mention these turbos are supposed to be able to run to ~22psi and none of these cars on the dyno with the ATR25's were running high boost at all.

Also, am i correct in saying that both akeizm and Brad22 were running the 300hp rated ATR25 and not the 320hp ones? I'd really like to see the bigger 320hp rated ones on the dyno with appropriate mods and engine running properly. That would be what i'd ideally like to see. (i'm sure everybody would aswell)

So that dyno day was a very inconclusive example of these ATR25 turbos performance, i'm hoping there will be more and better results VERY soon!

Me too! lol I've got a new HD exedy clutch coming this week, as well as an SAFC + a gizzmo EBC sitting at home waiting to be installed when I get around to it.

As for the boost leaks, I Fixed most of the them prior to running on the dyno, but as i mentioned in the other thread, the intake still won't hold pressure when I try to pressurise it for a boost leak test. I've spent a good 10 hours searching for these leaks, even taking it down to a workshop with a smoke machine and they still couldnt find them/it! Niall's got a plan though  lol so hopefully I'll get to the bottom of that issue soon.

Honestly, on a well set up zed I can't see why the hypergear turbos couldnt perform as well as the turbos Niall is running, when we compared them physically prior to installing, they were very similar.

Hopefully some better numbers to come from me next time! :)

Good to hear Brad! also, did you have the 300hp or 320hp rated Hypergears mate?

300HP mate, jason.price@maunsell.com has the 320hp ones though if you want to talk to him.

Was surprised that this thread has gone quiet, My turbos are due for repair or replacement. Getting them hi-flowed is an option but then with the new hypergear turbos I would get new actuators. Is it a big job modifying the intake and cooler pipe flange? what pipes are these actually. Is it really obvious as to the angle that these pipes are required to be at with the engine out? Planning to do the work myself and take it somewhere to get welded up. Did the people who are currently running the hypergear turbos run into any problems with fitting. Wondering if there are any pics of the mods required. cheers :)

Thanks for your post. We've finalised the TT profiles and moved on to RB market this year.

To high flow your stock turbo to 2860RS specifications will cost $1760 in sleeve bearing setup running Garrett 360 degree performance kit with Mallet turbine wheel and Turbo international comp wheel.

Or $2500 with Garrett Ball bearing Disco potato CHRA.

14psi actuators cost $100 each additional.

Once high flowed Every thing bolt back on with no modification required.

    Optional setups:
We can also built bolton turbos running .64 rear turbine housing and .60 comp housing with OEM bolton pattern. Those options are available in with:

    GT2860RS CHRA
    GT2871R CHRA
    GT3071R CHRA
    GT3076 52T CHRA
    GT3076 56T CHRA

Depending on the sort of HP you are chasing for and street driving ability.

To overhaul your stock turbos assume your bearing housing and both wheels are in re-usable condition. It cost $440 per turbo with Genuine Garrett 360 degrees performance bearing kit.

Or we can supply the kit for $350 per set including instructions on how to rebuild them your selves.

For people who's interested to see video of our ATR43G4 bolton turbo with stock RB25det running 321rwkws on 20psi with 98 fuel:
