This is our ATR25 Turbochargers made to bolton standard VG30dett engine with oil lines and slight intake pipe modifications. They can be made into 280HP, 300HP and 320HP single. Bigger out put also means laggier to run. Price for them is $800 Each. Or $1760 a kit including 2x Turbos, and 2x braided oil feeding lines.

Alterntively we can high flow your stock turbo to 280HP, 300HP, and 320HP single at $750 Each. High flowed turbos will be running Brand new ATR25's Core, and requires No modifications when putting them back in.

We also make, rebuild and high flow other turbo models to suit specific applications. For further information please visit our website at: www.hypergear.com.au Or call 0390163965 / 0413457185

is that 800$ each for all 3 models? or does the price go up per model?

Which turbos require an upgraded ECU + injectors to get their potential?

ie: If i were to stick with running stock ECU and stock injectors (because nowhere in Tasmania can change the ecu) which would be the best choice?

You can choice any of 3 profiles to be made. More power = more lag. If you don't run high boost stock ECU handles it fine. You can send your factory ECU to Nistune in SA. They can modify your computer and make it live tunable through a laptop for around $250

    Nistune board + installation + licence = $540 + postage
plus u need a wideband $200-$300 with data logging ability, something to detect knock and of course an idea on how to tune.

sounds pretty cheep and simple lol

Well I only paid $509 for 2x ECUs to be tested and fitted on the 6th of this month. might be different bord but any way.

You can download the "single run" software from Nistune at:
    http://www.nistune.com/downloads.htm
Just uninstall and reinstall it every time you need to run it. lol

Or just take your car to a tunner who has the software license to get it dyno tunned.

Hey hypergear if i was aiming for 380 - 400 RWHP would stock turbos high flowed to 300HP each be enough?

@ what PSI would these power figures be attained at ?

edit : also what would be the shipping estimate to get the stock turbos to you and then back to the customer, im in perth, w.a, 6061.

Power out put is calculated base on 18psi based on 98 Fuel. 300HP single profile will be enough to make 400HP wheels as a twin with supporting mods

I bought a set of these a few months ago (received them in early feb), at the time there was no choice of the 280hp,300hp or 320hp versions, just wondering which profile would mine be? also, what boost level is the wastegate set to?

Back then that should be the 300HP profile with the T28 Rear turbine wheel. The wastegate we put there is in 14psi. They can be preloaded to give more boost. Is yours installed and tunned yet?

Thanks. At the moment the engine is still in the run in stage (done about 200km so far), so once its run in then I will be looking into getting it tuned.

I've got a full exhuast from the turbos back, japtek SMIC, GFB UD pulley and Pod. I'm hoping once tuned it should make around 250rwkw. Maybe more if i end up getting bigger injectors.

    BLACK BEAST SLICKTOP TT R-SPEC

these turbo specs are still pretty vague 280hp ,300hp,320hp

do you actually have the wheel sizes not just the trim size?

    eg
compressor 46.5 inducer 60 mm exducer
    turbine 53mm exducer 41.7mm inducer

thats the GT28r specs which is rated 300hp but when you put the centres into smaller housings it becomes less.
this is the old school t28/t25

gt28rs is the old school t28/t28 which has bigger turbine wheel 47mm

just trying to work out your wheel sizes

Yes we have the right wheel sizes for the right profile that we choice for individual HP requirements

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

    2 Quick Questions.
I've been following your ATR25 build up thread and near the end of it you mentioned that you were developing a turbo using T28 core and just had to customise the shaft length to get to fit.
Is that turbo actually the 320hp model that you are offering for sale? if not, do you have more info and specs on that T28 turbo?

Secondly, can you offer a ball bearing option instead of the thrust bearing?

I'll be looking at a turbo upgrade some time soon and I'd say i'll be looking at your turbos for the job :)

    Thanks in advance. :)

You mean the ATR28 CHRA into T25 housings. We can do that and make a single T25 to produce 250rwkws on a 2L engine. Problem is that is not going to spool up on a VG30dett.

The 320HP is a T28 turbo with T25 housings, We've fitted one not long ago, It pulled hard with heaps of torque but very laggy. So depends on perferred driving ability.

We can use Garrett GT2860 BB CHRA. It will cost roughly $1300 Per turbo. With GTRS CHRA it will cost roughly $1500 per turbo.

That's good to know... I reckon I can make a couple of T25's fit :zlove:

    Hey Hypergear,

really interested in a set. Are these direct bolt on replacement for stocks (as suspect that mine have just gone)? 4 bolt?

How have other people gone with these as well?

They are not 100% bolt on. You need to use 2x braided oil lines and you need to modify the passenger side intake and cooler pipe flange (cut them off and weld them back in different angle.) Or you can send in your stock turbos and we can high flow them to the exact spec, and they are direct bolt on.

with supporting mods,eg exhaust, dumps, pod, ebc etc, what power output from high flowed turbos would you expect

with the 320HP Spec should see about 350rwkws as a twin. If you want more power we can also make them in 350HP spec.
