I really feel sorry for this guy.http://my350z.com/forum/lounge-off-...op-experience-details-inside-350z-ruined.html This has to be the worst bodykit spray job eva. hopefully not a repost Trev
you get what you pay for...what do you think you are going to get for 750 bucks.....gees, some people
actually he was quoted $250 initially the guy jacked the price up another $500 midway through and this guy still paid it. all that aside, this is a load of rubbish and he just got owned by a dodgy trader. pure and simple.
in the US $750 is near top dollar for that sort of job. My uncle had a complete SS Camaro respayed for $2200 in the US and it is a mint job. We get ripped here for this sort of thing
I would expect a perfect job of course!! doesnt matter how much you pay for jobs getting done - it shouldnt look like that. THat car is now scrap metal IMO, I would not accept that car back and head straight to court!! that is soooo not acceptable..... what gets me is what were they thinking? to think that the customer would be happy with that? :bash:
that is SHITE, even for 750$, who ever done that job is a ****ing wanker and should just quit. Most workshops i know are proud of there work and wouldent EVER give that kind of end result to a customer, this guys a prick.
I agree but $250 is a little shady but like you said it shouldn't look like that. I think a little fist to mouth would be in order. If it was me who did that paint job for someone else I WOULD fear for my life and the first thing to come to mind would be "jesus its gonna be my ass on the barbie for this".
wow thats shoking I have had no schooling in fitting body kits but mine kicks ass in fitment over his and to most other peoples kits I see fitted even some at autosalon shoking or eather im just realy good haha
yours is a genuine stillen no? there's your answer. this guy bought a crap kit that didn't really fit, any good body shop would have told him it doesn't fit properly. the dodgy operator decides to try and fit it anyway and make a killing hence the extra $500 for making a crappy kit fit with a equally shitty job.
huh i wasnt talking to you when i posted i was just posting my opinion on the matter, not directed to any one person in the thread.
Well there is a bit of labor involved in painting a car dude, and paint is actually pretty comparable in price to the stuff we get here except it has to meet much tougher emissions and environmental laws than here in oz. $750 is a touch over a grand here and you could get a way better job than that for that sort of cash...
just noticed something, but , dont they have rivet guns in the USA? he used screws for everything, looks ****ing shite.
