Group Buy Open: DASH GAUGE PODS

OK Guys, time to get the "Worlds Best Ever" dash gauge pod for your Z, some pics below, these new pods will take 60mm OR 52mm gauges (specify when ordering), the pod will look exactly the same as the 52mm ones in previous GB's, the only difference is that they will sit 3-4mm higher than those, the front facia of the gauge holder will NOT cover the top vent openings in the centre console as the previous 52mm GB ones did.

NB. If you want any other colour than Black, you are better off getting a bare unit and having it covered locally, so you can more closely match the colour you want.

........They are also for the 60mm units.

.........It is a new mould so 52mm gauges can be fitted also. If anyone wants 52mm they can still get them at the same prices as above.

hi i spoke to street to strip about these and basically i want one but twice the height so i can fit a 7" LCD screen into it. Think it could be possible to get one made up? Would be great in a GB if the people thinking of doing car PC's wanna go down the same track as me.

 

Interesting idea. I've been waiting for the new Panda in dash touch screen radio jobby but I never thought of doing what you suggest.
Might sit a bit high though not sure.

 

Ill let you in on my design secrets. It shouldnt sit too high, infact it should sit perfect, just below the windscreen so you can run the Nissan DataScan and have all your gauges in clear view, no need for phyiscal guages taking up room and space. I want to install a Nano-ITX board in the centre console (only 120mmx120mm) link the pc to the Double DIN Pioneer set up with Vehicle Dynamics Processor and BAM! You got guages galore and mulitmedia potential going crazy.

hi, this GB is for the original dash gauge pod, but mainly to cater for those who want 60mm gauges in it, as far as a dvd or computer screen panel goes, that would have to be taken up with Street To Strip by you, all i want is 10 buyers for the gauge pod as is,
