    Hi guys.
Has anyone got any photos or information on a Zed with a reverse cowl fitted to the bonnet?
I remember seeing one some where ages ago but can’t find it again.

    Cheers

I had a small reverse scoop fitted to my racing 300zx five years ago. Sorry no photos as they were lost along with computer in marriage break-up. I fitted it to reduce the under bonnet pressure and get more airflow across the engine. It was a generic fibreglass one. I was able to cut a hole in bonnet and maintain bonnet strength then pop rivet reverse scoop in place. Looked okay and did keep temperatures down a little.

    Thanks Martin.
So you just used rivets on the flange of the scoop?
Did it already fit the shape of the bonnet reasonably well?

Yes fitted well and being fibre glass moulded itself to curvature of bonnet.. I sprayed it first then pop riveted around the flange. Being a track car I wasn't after a perfect finish, buts thats possible with a bit more effort.

    Sounds good.
Can you remember where you got it from and what size?
I don’t need anything real high

oh my god, I feel sick. That is the worst scoop I have ever seen. I made one out of wood that looked better.
