 George!!! woe, you're selling up? You know, if you decide you want another Z after this one's gone, you won't find one as good...

For potential buyers, checked this out while it was being complied in Brisbane - it's immaculate! And being a '97 (SEVS doesn't allow importing a Z32 later than '97!) with low mileage, it's as new as you can get (unless you wait for Jono to sell!).
With selling prices for good, late model Z's at auction in Japan + shipping, import duties, compliance costs, etc - you'd be hard pressed to import one for George's asking price even if you could find one as nice. Plus George has clearly spent thousands on upgrades!

You're crazy, but all the best George :)

Three silver '97 models hey? with 3 Z's I'm keeping & 2 getting parted out (down from 7 a bit over a year ago :D ), the missus reckons the next one better be comfy - cause I'll be sleeping in it  but thanks champ ;)

Sad to see you selling up after what I consider a short time in a Z. But life always throws curve balls when you least expect it.

As mentioned, you won't find another like this for sale. It's one of those examples that you could wait years on finding, if at all.

All the best with the sale. I just hope it finds another good home & is appreciated for the car that it is.

If you've bought this STocKi, on top of having one of the newest & best Z's on the road here in Australia, you've gotten yourself a bargain. You couldn't bring a late model, low mileage one in from Japan & have it complied for the asking price & then you get all of George's thousands of dollars worth of upgrades as a bonus (+ there's no waiting to find one in Japan & waiting months for it to arrive with your fingers crossed it gets here safely!).
Frankly I think it was priced too low but still proves a good price point. I got $14200 for an original & immaculate 1990 auto, 2 seat TT a couple of months back - makes this one look like a winner hey!
Hope that new ride is all you're hoping for George...

I will let George take it from here..
I won't say anything more at this stage besides that I have my fingers crossed today and a deal has been made with a deposit being transferred but there's still a chance the deal may fall through.
I have been praying to the Zed gods all day. Lol

Oh, come on George, please stick it up all these wankers who reckon they love Z32's but that they're not worth anything, come on, tell these pricks how much someone was willing to pay for your car!

In 1 way its nice to see a quality z go for a high price. However really not looking forward to seeing it with someone else behind the wheel. The new owner has offered to sell it back in 18 to 24 months to me pending condition ofcourse.

Sorry STocKi, wasn't directing that at you at all :) You're clearly willing to pay good money for a good Z. George's asking price was too low for his car's specs and condition and someone who wanted one of the best Z's in Australia simply made sure it becomes his (well done, I'd offered George I'd buy it if he was being pissed around).
My comment was directed at those who, while supposedly being fans of these cars, try to convince others that these cars are all worth bugger all. Sure, worn out neglected Z's are potentially hard and expensive to fix so therefore should be sold cheap - but Z's like George's are rare and will become more and more sort after as time goes by.
While I think the buyer got a bargain, considering the percentage over, it's a sale most car magazines would do an article on!
