Guys what hi end suspention is available for a zed 32. We have all the standard tein . Hks . Etc etc. But what more is there. Something with all the options. Street and track work. . Lets just leave it to springs and shocks. Not other suspention parts. I may be looking into changing my tein ha at a later date so i would like to no whats out there. GO
I'm guessing you mean top end of off the shelf [barely] streetable kits not external tank race suspension? Don't forget Tein do better stuff too like mono-flex etc. The main kits I'm aware of that are popular for the Z are powertrix though, and with the current exchange rate they're pretty pricey (well over $2k landed). They do "Group Buy" sales now and then but still pricey. I'm looking for something road/track and have been thinking about getting in touch with MCA to see if we could get the GTR units they make modified to suit the Z, their usual prices range from $1500 to $3k depending on how serious you are.
Oowww wow i like. Ok just had a look at drummond motorsport they seem to make some nice gear. Ill do some more research when i get home. Ill give them a call as well to ask some questions soon and tell them what i need the car to do. So far looking good. Thanks rob.
Im always serious. . Ok so we have 2 good company's to look through keep them coming. Around the 5k mark is ok
Tektrader was selling some custom racecar ones from MCA a year or two back, might be able to steal his specs.
Yeah i was playing around with them a while ago at his house. But i would like some new ones. But yeah
Bilsteins > Ohlins > KW > Aragosta Except Bilstein and KW don't do base height adjustable coilovers for the Z32, only spring perch adjustment, therefore Ohlins > Aragosta
http://mcasuspension.com/ (these are what a friend runs in his race car r32 gtr) these people are around as well . something to look into . keep them coming guys
Dude if you're going custom hands down talk to Heasmans here in Sydney. They're Bilstein Australia and build custom bilsteins for race cars using all German hardware. Ball park 6 k though. More or less all the WTAC cars go through heasmans for atleast their track corner weighting and alignment before hitting the tarmac. They're the place to go. Interesting, thank you! Good bit of info there
