13/10/2013 WA Tech Day Part Out - East Victoria Park

300zx 2+0 NA Targa Top

Having a tech day on the Sunday 13th October, as most of ya'll probably know I was the newb who totalled his car on the track day so need it gone for a new ride to take it's place.

gibbon_tamer came over on the long weekend, so most of the car is already in pieces, just need to remove the engine and gearbox, so shouldn't be more than a couple hours of manual labour max, then it's a free for all (for a reasonable price)

Also would really appreciate an engine crane to borrow for the engine pull, gibbon_tamer can swing past and pick it up on the day.

Also I guess I could afford some beers for those who come help out, but this whole event is about making as much cash to buy another ride so don't expect Guinness.

Happy to lend out my crane if you need it. Unfortunately I'm in Rockingham tho. Huey knows the addy. I'd drop it down myself but have no way of getting it there.

Will try make it down to say hello and swing a spanner on the day also!

 

Yeh might just grab my crane back off the missis old man and bring it down and bring a carton. Engine pull will take like 30 min lol

 

If noone closer can help, I have a crane you can borrow (Maida Vale)
I couldnt bring it in my zed though, someone would have to pick it up.
Never seen a Zed motor pulled, so if a new guy can come ild be interested in meeting some pros, and maybe buying some bits for a good cause hah

hope you have some good tools.. rattle gun, really good pair of snips/electrical scissors, big hammer.. obviously sockets and ringys

I. Have some sockets. and a tool box full of things that could do the job but but probably wouldn't be the ideal tools....and a small axe if we get frustrated.

I'm hoping gibbon_tammer will bring his rattle gun, ringys and hammer as well as other tools he used for his engine pull.
I have tin snips but not electrical scissors.

Yeah I don't have that many tools, the stockpile gets bigger with age and I'm only 20.

 

Yeh il have all that's needed to finish her off, the engine and box just needs lifting out pretty much. Everything's been unbolted and disconnected
