I kinda thought "It's GOTTA be in one of these boxes" and looked and looked until it popped up haha.

Not really setting a date just yet Simmo, as have far too much else going on atm that is really important. It's going to be an absolute buzz to have it all back between the chassis rails though. Plus I'll get to bolt in the interior again properly and not have tonnes of stuff taking up space all over the house.

Next problem- lost the clutch pressure plate bolts! I've put them in a really safe spot and now I can't find them! I've got a ton of spare bolts in the bolt draw, so does anyone know what they look like, their length or even if they have a rating embossed in the bolt head? I might be able to find some spares...

    Thanks in advance.

I dont think they have anything stampped on the bolt head. Silver bolt with a black flat washer about 1.5mm thick.

Just went ahead and ordered 9 new bolts. Probably a good idea seeing as the HP is being increased and the last clutch saw some pretty intense duty.

Engine and gearbox are mated together again.
Bolted the powder coated crossmember to the new engine mounts.
Rolled the whole lot under the Z ready to be lifted into position.
Painted the steering column uni joint and shaft, and just have to paint the starter motor and then bolt that in as well as the dump pipes before lifting it all into position. I might give the floor a quick coat of sound deadener also.

Can I get an AMEN?!! :D The drivetrain is finally back in the Z.

Ready to be lifted into position. Last thing I had to do was polish the turbo water feed pipe and then bolt it back into position.

Now comes hooking up all the wiring and then tucking it into conduit to keep it tidy. Battery in the boot, and custom brake lines under the cross-member. Then bolt in the huge SMIC's and sort out the custom piping to suit. Build a custom flat panel air filter box. Custom radiator. Custom AC condenser and lines. Electric water pump and controller.

    Ah no probs.

You know a block mount setup with CNC machined adapters, black anodised, stainless fittings etc would be much tidier.....

    Is it working yet? :p

Actually, an under guard setup with completely hidden outlets and no obvious sign of any kind of cooling just might be a little bit more tidier :p

Detailing the drivers' side suspension and wheel well today. Rubbed back the JIC coilover and painted the lower gloss black. The silver part is a brushed finish with clear-over to seal.

How do the bolts that hold the FUCA bracket on come out Brad? Also stop wasting time with that crap and work on the bay!

The 4 bolts that bolt the mounting plate to the inner wheel well have to come out, then you can pull the FUCA (ha ha!) out and access the long bolts holding it in.

Gotta get it back on its paws again before heading back into the bay.
