QLD September 19th Gold Coast - Hinterland / Jacobs Well Cruise

So who's keen on doing something around this proposed event?

It's always a fun drive up to Mt Tambourine or anywhere on the Gold Coast hinterland.

Would also be great to put a face to some of the names on this forum so to speak

You'll find alot of QLD regulars who attend cruises wont be able to make it on the 5th..... wedding the night before puts most ppl out

 

Sounds good, but maybe postphone it until the 12th or 19th of September. This works for me because A. Ill have my zed on road by then for sure! and B. Ill sneak up and get some aerial shots of the zeds on the cruise around Jacobs Well - before meeting up before the run up Tambo!

 

I might go depending on the route. :br:

 

That would be great! any date in September works for me.. don't want people driving hungover and tired after partying all night at the wedding

 

ill be up for any date apart from the 22nd as its my bday on that day and ill be at wet and wild

 

Half-Stealth zed might make an appearance.

Im keen for a Jacobs well/ tamborine run and to meet the QLDers i havnt met yet

... apart from post-wedding hangovers, i think that 5 Sept is also Fathers Day .... the day to cash in the annual tally of brownie points .... !!!!

So the proposed "Major Events List" is a sham! Both the Western Cruise and now this one are going to be non-events.

 

So.... there must be more than two days in september??? yes ...no?

 

How about people who cant make the cruise weigh out and let the rest of us have fun? if you cant attend then why make it affect the rest of us? at this rate its not surprising we lack cruises. No disrespect to anyone but there's always something and someone who can't make it. [TIS]:br:

.. if you want a cruise on that day just do it ... but stop all the whinging !!!!!!

 

That's the point Baz, if it is held on this date its a shame you probably wont attend? been a while.

 

..i have a wedding on the Saturday .. and Father's day on the Sunday ... i would not have been able to attend this event ... in any event ...

.. and yes, i have missed the last couple of cruises ... for very personal and serious reasons ... apart from having a life outside this Forum ....

.. and you may have noticed that, over recent months, i have not spent a lot of time on the Forum ... i am of the view that the Forum is on a sad, steep, downward spiral .... sufficient for me to have lost a large degree of interest ....

 

I never said you couldn't organise a cruise on the 5th..... In fact I didn't even suggest doing it on another date..... I was simply stating that alot of people can't make it.

To be honest Im kinda over the Tambo cruises anyway so i don't care if I miss out on it

And in terms of cruises not going ahead..... I think alot of people have been extremely busy over the past few months which is why none have gone ahead.

I am planning a cruise for late October when I get back from overseas.... so there will be at least one before xmas :zlove:
